Prayer Summits
Pastors’ Prayer Summits are multiple-day events for pastors in the same geographic area, across denominational, racial, generational lines, where we engage in Spirit-let, worship-fed, Scripture-based, corporate prayer. We seek Him and His righteousness and let Him lead us where He wants to take us. The desired end result is a greater sense of God’s vision, relational connection, and desire to team with God for the advancement of His kingdom in their area. We can provide coaching to get to a summit, facilitation at the summit, and follow-up beyond the summit.
Prayer Summits for other groups, such as women, ministries, and congregations, are similar to the Pastors’ Prayer Summits but are modified to meet specific needs of the group. The common factors are the style of prayer at the summit, a location away from their city, and the facilitation process.
Days of Prayer
We recognize that it is not always possible for a group to have 2 or 3 days away to pray. So, without diminishing the exponential value of a multiple day Prayer Summit, we can also facilitate single days of prayer. These are facilitated much like a longer Prayer Summit with some adjustments. The common factor is the style of prayer (Spirit-let, worship-fed, Scripture-based, corporate prayer).
Prayer Seminars
We offer several seminars with a variety of topics and lengths of time:
Living Prayer Seminar – This is a 6 hour seminar introduced on a Sunday morning and presented on Sunday and Monday evenings. It is based upon the book Living Prayer: The Lord’s Prayer Alive in You and walks through each phrase of the Lord’s prayer with the desire to help people use this prayer as a regular pattern for their personal prayer. People will leave having not simply learned about the Lord’s Prayer, but also having prayed from it.
Written on Our Hearts – This is a 3 hour seminar introduced on a Sunday morning and presented that evening. It is based on the book Experiencing Life and Power through Biblical Meditation and helps people learn how to let God write His Word on our hearts through meditation and prayer. People will leave with practical steps and practice on Biblical Meditation.
Praying Like Jesus – This is a 2 hour seminar introduced on a Sunday morning and presented that evening. It could also be a 3 hour “stand alone” seminar. It looks at the prayer of Jesus in John 17 and details how we can learn to pray these requests for the situations we care about. This is a “lab” experience with both learning and facilitated pray taking place.
Praying Like Paul – This is a 2 hour seminar introduced on a Sunday morning and presented that evening. It could also be a 3 hour “stand alone” seminar. It looks at 6 key prayers of Paul and details how we can learn to prayer like him for the situations we care about. This is a “lab” experience with both learning and facilitated pray taking place.
Other topics
United and Ignited – This is a variable-of length seminar (2-4 hours) training people in the value and the art of facilitating dynamic corporate prayer. It is based on the book United and Ignited; Encountering God through Dynamic Corporate Prayer.
Praying God’s Peace – This is a 2 hour seminar training people to understand the significance and the process of praying the rich, Biblical concept of shalom for our cities, our families, and others.
Pulpit Supply – Dennis pastored for 25 years and has also spoken at many congregations and conferences in multiple states and countries. In addition to serving as the director of International Renewal Ministries since 2000, he has served as an adjunct professor and an interim pastor.
We are also in relationship with other people and ministers related to prayer. We encourage you to check out Abide Ministries directed by Jody Mayhew, and the intensive prayer schools they offer, as well as conferences on the Supremacy of Christ presented by Steve Hall.
