    • Meet the staff and board of IRM Dennis Fuqua, IRM Director Originally from Gig Harbor, Washington, Fuqua received his Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Divinity degrees from Multnomah. He served as a pastor of Peninsula Christian Fellowship in Gig Harbor for twenty-four years. Fuqua began working as the director of IRM in February 2000. His leadership activities include facilitating summits, equipping others, and developing and maintaining relationship connections with the network of people in IRM. Dennis and his wife, Marilyn, have four grown children and five grandkids. Contact information: dennis@prayersummits.net Jody Mayhew, Special Representative Jody is the women’s rep for IRM and the director of Abide Ministries. She also works with her husband, Dan, in The Summit Fellowships, a network of house churches in Portland, Oregon. During the last twenty years, she has worked as a counselor and teacher to women, as well as a director and consultant for women’s ministries. God has equipped her with discernment and a passion for Himself that has been used in a variety of summit contexts.     • The earliest prayer summits were for pastors, nearly all men, to gather together for a time of prayer, worship and fellowship. As the years passed, it was clear that the call to prayer was going out among other groups as well. Soon women in leadership were also gathering for summits, followed by Christians in what was called “the marketplace” — in the workplace and business. Finally, congregations, inspired by their pastor or members of the congregation began to set aside time for prayer summits of their own.
